How to Summarize a Meeting Recording Without Missing Decisions
· meetings, meeting summary, productivity
A good meeting summary is not a transcript cut shorter. It tells someone who missed the call what was decided, what remains open, and what happens next.
Use this order
Record or upload the audio in Baani Meeting Mode, then read the transcript once for names and numbers. Keep the summary to the purpose, key points and outcomes. Put decisions and action items in their own sections so they are easy to scan.
For Hindi and Hinglish calls
Choose the language carrying the sentence structure. English work terms can remain readable while the surrounding speech stays natural. Always review the finished note before sharing—it is a draft, not a replacement for meeting judgement.
